This information helps us keep the site working and understand which content is useful. See Cookies and analytics below.

Information we do not ask for

We do not ask for sensitive information such as government ID numbers, health information, or payment card numbers through our website. Please do not send it to us unless we specifically request it as part of a project and agree on a secure way to share it.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

For visitors in places like the European Union, our legal reasons for using your information are: to take steps toward or perform a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and growing our business, your consent (for example, for the newsletter), and compliance with the law.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website saves on your browser. Our website uses them in a few ways:

  • Essential cookies help the site load, display correctly and keep forms working.
  • Analytics tools may count visits and show which pages are viewed, so we can improve the site.
  • Embedded content, such as videos and the call-booking calendar, may set cookies from the companies that provide it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may not.

Information collected by third-party cookies is handled by those providers under their own privacy policies.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers that help us run the business: website hosting (Webflow), email and calendar (Google), and project management (ClickUp). They handle your information to provide their services to us.
  • Freelancers and specialist partners working with us on a specific project. We share only what the project needs.
  • AI tools that support our research, writing and creative work.
  • Legal reasons, when the law requires it, to respond to a valid request from authorities, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
  • Business changes, if Odd Matter is involved in a merger, sale or restructuring, your information may be transferred as part of that process.
  • With your permission, in any other case.
Client projects and confidentiality

When you hire us, you may share business information such as strategy documents, sales data, customer research or unreleased product details. We treat it as confidential and use it only to deliver the work you hired us for.

If we have a written agreement with you, its confidentiality and data terms apply and take priority over this policy where the two differ.

We show client work, logos or project details in our portfolio, case studies or social media only as agreed with the client.

International visitors

Odd Matter is based in Florida, and we manage information from the United States. If you contact us from Latin America, Europe or anywhere else, your information will be handled in the U.S. and in other countries where our service providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

By contacting us or using our services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be handled as described in this policy.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to respond to you, deliver our work, send the newsletter you signed up for, and meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.

When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including a secure (HTTPS) connection on our website. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Florida law and any other law that applies.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal or contractual reasons.
  • Stop marketing emails, by writing to us or using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
  • Object to or limit how we use your information, or withdraw consent you gave us.
  • Transfer the information you gave us to you or another company, in a common format.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may also contact the data protection authority in your country.
